In the first season of the Kerala Premier League (KPL) in 2024, he took 2 wickets in 3 matches for Alleppey Ripples where Mumbai Indians (MI) scouts saw him.
He later attended trials for the MI but bowled only 1 over in the first trial to Hardik Pandya . However, Mahela Jayawardene was impressed with his bowling.
