Some Lesser Known Facts About Venkata Datta Sai
Venkata Datta Sai grew up in a middle-class family in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Since childhood, he has been attracted to technology and its ability to change lives.
In his school days, he used to make many technology-based models. As a kid, he also repaired devices like thermostats.
In July 2013, he joined Posidex as a business development specialist. He worked there for around a year.
While pursuing his graduation, Venkata worked as a summer analyst at Pioneer Gas Power Limited. During his three-month internship, Venkata worked on various power plant projects in different countries.
A year later, he did a 4-month summer internship at JSW, Mumbai. During his internship, Datta analysed and prepared a detailed report on the acceptability of high coating mass Galvalume in the solar industry.
From November 2016 to July 2018, Venkata worked as a research associate at CESS Nuffield – FLAME University (Center for Experimental Social Sciences) in Pune.
In August 2018, Datta joined JSW as an in-house consultant. An intern from the fifth batch of SIP, Venkata received a pre-placement offer to GRP for successful completion of the project.
In 2019, Venkata co-founded the portfolio management and financial advisory firm Sour Apple Asset Management. As of 2014, he serves as the Managing Director of the company.
In December 2019, Venkata Datta Sai was appointed as the Executive Director of Posidex. As an Executive Director, Venkata looks after the marketing and HR departments of the company. He also looks after alliances and Global partnerships.

He also holds an experience of managing an IPL team.
A sports enthusiast, Venkata loves playing and watching sports like badminton, football, and cricket.
He loves travelling and doing adventure activities in his leisure time.
Venkata is fluent in 5 languages- English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu.
In December 2024, PV Sindhu ‘s father revealed in an interview that Sindhu’s wedding was finalised with Venkata Datta Sai. Talking about it, he said,
The two families knew each other but it was only a month ago that everything was finalised. This was the only possible window as her schedule will be hectic from January.”
