| Controversies | • IPL Match-fixing: In 2013, after IPL6, he was questioned by Delhi Police in case of spot-fixing after arresting a few Rajasthan Royals players. He confessed that he did betting and lost a huge amount of money. • Ban on his IPL Team: In 2015, the Supreme Court of India imposed a life ban on him from watching cricket matches in the stadiums. The same year, his IPL team Rajasthan Royals also faced a 2 year ban from IPL. • Pornographic-related case: On 19 July 2021, the Mumbai Police arrested him in a pornographic-related case. According to the Mumbai Police Commissioner, Hemant Nagrale, in February 2021, a case was registered against Kundra with Crime Branch Mumbai in which Kundra was accused of creating pornographic conent and uploading them on a paid App. Reportedly, Kundra was booked under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention), 292 and 293 (related to obscene and indecent advertisements and displays) of IPC besides other sections of the IT act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act. The police has found the involvement of a UK production company, Kenrin, in which the police has suspected that Kundra has a stake in the company.
