Some Lesser Known Facts About Thunderstorm Artis
Thunderstorm Artis was born into a middle-class family.
There’s an interesting story behind his name. His parents thought that they were having twins, so they had 2 names, Thunder and Storm, but later named him after this.
His parents inspired him to become a musician as he learned to play the guitar, piano, drums, percussion, and harmonica.
His father even played music on Michael Jackson ‘s Thriller song, but he died in 2010 because of a heart attack.
He started singing as a therapy that helped him overcome the challenges.

He liked surfing during his childhood, but injured his shoulder, after which he stopped surfing.
Jon Chu, director of the hit film Crazy Rich Asians, saw him performing at an ice cream shop and became friends with him. Chu later invited him to perform at his wedding.
Chu later told the agents of The Voice show about Artis, who sent him an email with an invitation to the show.
He became popular for participating in season 18 of the reality singing show The Voice, which aired on NBC.
