Some Lesser Known Facts About Sushil Singh
He was born and brought up in a middle-class doctor’s family. His father wanted Sushil to become a doctor. However, Sushil Singh wanted to do something different.

His family has a dairy farm business in Mumbai, for which he used to visit Mumbai frequently. During his visits to Mumbai, he decided to make his career as an actor.
Sushil Singh considers Indian actors Kamal Haasan and Girish Karnad as his idols. He also considers Amitabh Bachchan as his inspiration. Even as a child, he used to practice acting by watching the films of Kamal Haasan, Girish Karnad, and Amitabh Bachchan.
After graduation, he joined theatre groups and worked as a cameraman in B. M. Shah Sanskar Bharti’s workshop.
He played a small role in season 1 of the 1995 TV serial ‘Aahat,’ for which he was paid Rs 750.
In 2008, he appeared in the Bhojpuri film ‘Nirahua Rickshawala.’
He played the role of Akhilesh Sinha in the 2009 TV show Bhagyavidhaata season 1; aired on Colors TV.
His family does not like to watch Bhojpuri films and songs due to obscenity.
He once shared that he had a crush on the tennis player Gabriela Sabatini.
He has worked in various Bhojpuri films like Rani Dilbar Jani, Balma Sipahiya, Border, Nagraj, and Patna Se Pakistan.
He has worked in two Bhojpuri web series including- Bihar Diaries and Pathshala.
Sushil Singh campaigned in Azamgarh for Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua) in the 2019 Lok Sabha election and 2022 Lok Sabha by-election.
He played the role of a police officer in the 2019 film Mumbhaii Gangster.
