Some Lesser Known Facts About Rangayana Raghu
Rajashekhar who is the son of a noted playwright named Chandrashekhara Kambara was the one who encouraged Rangayana Raghu to act in plays and even suggested him to join a theatre group in Mysore.
In 1988, Rangayana Raghu began his career in theatre and started working as a stage actor with B. V. Karanth’s theatre group named ‘Rangayana.’ He worked in the group till 1999.
In 1995, he was cast in the Kannada film titled ‘Suggi’ which was supposed to be Rangayana Raghu’s debut film but the film was never released.
In 2001, Rangayana performed his last theatre play.
In the same year, he was cast in the Kannada comedy film titled ‘Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu’ in which he played the character of a police officer.
