Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu worked as a business development manager for an investment company in 2009.
He entered politics after the death of his father in November 2012.
He represented India in the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in 2017 and emphasized the importance of Nuclear Disarmament.
On 18 December 2018, he sat on a hunger strike in the parliament to demand a Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh.
In 2018, he started an internship program, ‘Politics For Impact,’ providing political knowledge and experience to the youth.
In May 2019, he became a member of the Court of Indian Maritime University.
In 2019, he wrote an article in ‘The News Minute,’ describing how the ban on sand mining by the then Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy , has resulted in the loss of employment for over 20 lakh labourers in less than 3 months.
