Mukesh is a Cardiac Surgery specialist and works in both U.S. and India.
He is counted among the worldâs top heart surgeons who have received an MBA degree.
In 1989, he was the member of the Dr John Wrightâs surgical team while doing the Open Heart Bypass Surgery of popular singer R.D. Burman at The Princess Grace Hospital, Marylebone, London.
He was bitten by the acting bug when he was around 50 years old. In 2014, he gave an interview for a student spot at âNew York Film Academyâ in the âShort Term Acting Programâ and luckily, got selected. He then took a professional training in acting from there.
After that, he received some offers from Hollywood film industry to become the part of Asian characters but he rejected those offers and returned to India.
Mukesh then became the part of the Bollywood film industry and started playing small roles in the films like âRough Bookâ (2016), âA Flying Jattâ (2016), âNaam Hai Akiraâ (2016), âThe Final Exit Movieâ (2017), âAksar 2â (2017), etc.
He also appeared in one of the episodes of TV serial âStories by Rabindranath Tagoreâ as a family doctor in 2015.
He was featured in many TV commercial advertisements.
In 2016, Mukesh founded his own Indo â US production house â âDollars & Cents Entertainmentâ and produced several films including a short film âMillion Dollar Club.â
