He started attending acting workshops at the Mumbai based Indian theatre group ‘Ekjute’ after completing his MBA.
He did training in acting under the renowned Indian theatre artist Nadira Babbar (founder of the theatre group Ekjute). He then performed in various theatre plays with the theatre group.

While he was working as a theatre artist, he auditioned for many TV series. In 2017, he auditioned for the Hindi web series ‘Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega’ (2020), but it took almost three for the series to release, and he was selected to play a role in it. In an interview, he talked about it. He said,

I auditioned for Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega but it took three years to release. In 2014-15 I even thought of quitting and even did a part-time business which failed. Thankfully, I passed that phase as my heart and soul was into acting and I couldn’t think of doing anything else. Those years were tough, in fact, very tough. But I got full support from my brother, sister and friends. Finally, the release of Jamtara (2020) turned the tide. Meanwhile, actors like Amit Sial, whom I consider my mentor, boosted me.”

In 2019, he played the character of ‘Show’ in the Hindi TV mini-series ‘Kapow.’
He has gained immense popularity with his performance in many popular Hindi web series including ’Jamtara: Sabka Number Ayega Season 1’ (2020), ‘Kathmandu Connection’ (2021), ‘Bhasad’ (2021), ‘Jamtara – Sabka Number Ayega Season 2’ (2021), and ‘Grahan’ (2021).

During an interview, he shared that enjoyed working with a few Indian directors. He said,

As an actor, I do give my best and work on my character and all the three directors I have worked with have been wonderful. I strictly go by their vision as I honestly believe that cinema (or series) is a director’s medium. Last year, after the release, the first season lockdown happened and everything came to a standstill. In that period, I religiously worked on my craft. This time, I had to go to my hometown, Mor Mokama (near Patna) after a tragedy happened in the family. So, I am with them and hope to go back as things improve and shooting starts.”
