Manoj Bhawuk grew up in a middle-class family in Kausa village.
He has worked as an actor-director in various TV serials like Birajoo Ke Biaah, Haathee Ke Daant, Maastar Ganesee Raam, and Ham Jeena Chaahate Hain.
He started his career as a reporter with the TV channel Patna Doordarshan.
In 1999, he worked as a story-screenplay writer, dialogue writer, and songwriter in the Bhojpuri TV serial āTohare Se Ghar Banayeā which was telecasted on Doordarshan Kendra Patna.
From 2002 to 2003, he worked as a Production Engineer at Pearl Polymers Limited Company.
In 2003, he started working as an engineer at Rwenzori Beverage Company Ltd in Kampala Uganda (East Africa). He worked there till 2005.
In 2007, he was appointed as a Plant Engineer at Hadam Water Ltd, London, United Kingdom.
From 2009 to 2012, Manoj worked as a Creative Head at Hamar TV Channel, Noida.
