Himani Mor grew up in a Jat family in village Larsauli of Sonipat.
Since childhood, she was inclined towards sports and played different sports in her school days.
She was an academically bright student in her school days.
In November 2012, she associated herself with the All India Tennis Association as a professional athlete and took part in various Tennis championships.
In 2016, she won a gold medal in the World Junior Tennis Championship held in Malaysia.
In 2017, while Himani was in college, she represented Delhi University in the World University Games held in Taipei, Taiwan.

In 2018, she graduated with first division.
According to the All India Tennis Association (AITA), Himani’s career-best national ranking was 42 in singles and 27 in doubles in 2018.

While Himani was studying at Southeastern Louisiana University, she actively took part in Tennis and was a student athlete.
From June 2022 to November 2022, Himani worked as an Assistant coach at Franklin Pierce University.
She has also worked as a Business Development Executive at Belmont Country Club in Belmont, Massachusetts, United States.
In November 2022, she began working as an assistant coach of the women’s tennis team at Amherst College in Massachusetts. Later, she was promoted to the position of Team Manager and then to Graduate Assistant. As a graduate assistant at Amherst College, She oversaw training, scheduling, recruiting, and budgeting.
Himani tied the knot with the javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra on 16 January 2025 in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Their wedding was attended only by their close friends and relatives.
As per Himani’s mother, their wedding was fixed by both their families and both families knew each other from 7-8 years.
