She has worked as a choreographer in many Hindi films and TV serials. In the 1970s, she got immense popularity as a choreographer in Hindi films. She has also dubbed in Hindi films for various Bollywood actresses.
Some of her Hindi films as a choreographer are ‘Pride’ (1973), ‘Hush Hush’ (1975), ‘7 Saal Baad’ (1987), ‘Gautam Govinda’ (2002), ‘Sindoor Ki Saugandh’ (2002), ‘Aisaa Kyon’ (2003), and ‘Shabnam Mousi’ (2006).
She has also choreographed for the epic television series “Mahabharat” (1988) in which her husband Gajendra Chauhan played the role of ‘Yudhishthira.’
