Georgina Dsilva’s roots are British-Indian. She was born to an English mother and a Goan father, who hails from Betalbatim in South Goa.

Dsilva grew up in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire, England, where she was one of the few people of colour. As a child, she found comfort and a sense of identity through expressing herself with fashion.
She hails from a British-Indian heritage.
In her teenage years, Georgina was influenced by the 1970s British punk movement. She customised her outfits by layering leather and denim, sketching on her clothes, and transforming old band T-shirts into bold, DIY fashion statements.
Over time, she started to explore her South Asian heritage more deeply, and it began to influence her sense of style.
Georgina later started to embrace her English and Goan roots to create a modern style that felt true to her. She often paired traditional Indian jewellery from local markets with fresh flowers in her hair.

In April 2015, Georgina began a two-month internship at Flaunt Magazine in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
In September 2014, she briefly worked with Huishan Zhang Ltd in London.
In May 2015, Georgina worked as an assistant to stylist Zoe Costello in Los Angeles for a month.
In 2016, Georgina created her first zine, Konkan Konnection, which was published by Magma Books. She shot and styled the entire project in her grandfather’s village in Goa, drawing inspiration from her roots.
Georgina Dsilva worked as a sales specialist at Camper in Manchester from October 2017 to October 2018.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Georgina began taking self-portraits at home and collaborated with brands that matched her aesthetic, using styling as a form of self-expression.
She also began sourcing local fabrics and getting custom pieces stitched, which soon turned into a hobby.
Georgina began to embrace a more relaxed style after spending more time in Goa. Her everyday looks often included oversized shirts over bikini tops or simple slip dresses paired with anklets.
Georgina later became more mindful about shopping, choosing to support local talent, like buying crochet shorts handmade in Tamil Nadu. She also enjoyed re-wearing vintage pieces she had collected over time.
She then signed with Brother Models, a modelling agency based in Manchester.
One of Georgina’s favourite fashion pieces is a mesh corset she once found at a sample sale in London.
Georgina enjoys experimenting with her accessories in unique ways, like wearing a vintage belly chain as an anklet or even in her hair.
Over the years, Georgina has worked with top brands and publications including Tank, Vogue Runway, Nowness, Levi’s, Dilara Findikoglu, Les Boys Les Girls, and The Bridge Co.
In 2025, Georgina was rumoured to be dating actor Aditya Roy Kapur after fans noticed a woman’s hand and a football clip in his Instagram post that resembled hers.
