| Controversy | Arrested for Harming Police Officers In 1999, Molotov cocktail were thrown at police officers at Syntagma Square, Athens. One of the police officer suffered from severe first degree burns. Thereafter, G-Bani was arrested and was accused of being the attacker. The charge was denied by G-Bani and later he was released on bail. In May 2000, he was sentenced to eight and half years of imprisonment for setting an explosive device, disturbing public order, and causing harm. Some Lesser Known Facts About G-Bani
During his childhood, a dynamite capsule exploded in his eye which took time to get cured as there was no treatment available in Albania.
He spent most of his childhood with his parents in the town of Rubik, Mirdita district.
At the age of 13, he moved to Greece and lived there for several years.
He started creating music while staying in Greece.
In 2006, he started living in Sweden.
In May 2008, he created a YouTube channel known as G-BANI.
Some of his popular music videos are G-Bani – Mjet Anglez (2019), G-Bani X Ioulia Koukouve – Kreta (2020), G-Bani – G-Class (2024).
