In 2024, Valbona Mhilli was fired from her journalism job at the morning show named ‘Mirmëngjes Albania’ on the national public broadcasting company of Albania named ‘Radio Televizioni Shqiptar’ because of a typo error and having no knowledge about the Holocaust and the Auschwitz camp.
Valbona pronounced the Holocaust camp as ‘Holauskets’ during the morning show.
She was also spotted incorrectly reading the Holocaust on national television. She was trolled nationwide due to her lack of knowledge as the camp in question is a knowledge that begins in schools for the Albanian students.
