• Liquor policy case: On 16 April 2023, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) questioned him for nearly nine hours in the liquor policy case. After reaching home from the CBI headquarters, Mr. Kejriwal told reporters, "The CBI asked me a total of 56 questions. Everything is fake. The case is fake. I am convinced they don't have anything on us, not a single piece of evidence." According to the CBI, during the investigation, C Arvind, the then secretary to Mr. Sisodia, told the agency that Manish Sisodia
handed over to him the draft liquor policy in March 2021 at Mr Kejriwal's home. After the then Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal ordered an inquiry, the Delhi government cleared the excise policy. • FIR filed by the INC: On 25 December 2024, the Youth Congress filed an FIR against Arvind Kejriwal for misleading the Delhi public by promoting "non-existing" and "fraudulent" government schemes. The FIR also alleged his role in allowing the AAP to collect voter information through bogus registration for schemes. Youth Congress also alleged that the party was using funds from the government treasury to conduct election campaigning.

• Sued by the Haryana government: In January 2025, while campaigning for the Delhi Assembly elections, Kejriwal claimed that the rise in the ammonia level in Yamuna river was done by the Haryana government which had "deliberately poisoned" the water. Soon after, the Haryana government released a statement in which it claimed that they would file a lawsuit against him. Thereafter, the Polling Body of the ECI asked Kejriwal to present the evidence of alleged poisoning of the river by the Haryana government by the end of 29 January 2025.
