| Controversies | • In 2015, two US nationals filed an FIR against Abhiram, as they accidentally hit his car with their bike. For this, he assaulted the two and fell into a fight. Later, he also filed a complaint against the two, saying that they damaged his car with their bike. • There was another allegation on Abhiram for assaulting his neighbours, because of a fight over some construction. His neighbours filed a complaint against him to the police. • In April 2018, his name became the headline of the news, when actress and VJ Sri Reddy accused him of sexual exploitation for a role in his next film. She stated that he asked her for the sexual favour but in return, he refused to cast her in any of his movies. However, few people took his side saying he does not handle the work of casting actors but production and management. So how can Sri Reddy agree to his conditions?  |

Abhiram Daggubati’s father Daggubati Suresh Babu is a filmmaker and his grandfather, late D Ramanaidu, was also a part of the Telugu film industry and had worked in Telugu films for over 50 years.
He has got a filmy background. His brother Rana Daggubati , his cousin Naga Chaitanya  and his father’s younger brother Venkatesh Daggubati all are the famous actors of Hindi and Telugu film industries.
Though Abhiram Daggubati also is an aspiring actor, his father has not received a convincing script to launch his son. So, until his debut as an actor, he is working as the production manager of his production house, i.e., Suresh Productions.
