Zoha shifted to the United Kingdom with her parents as a teenager.
When she lived in Pakistan, her family would shift to a new city every two years as her father was an army personnel.

She makes an effort and tries to visit Pakistan at least once a year for at least two weeks.
Zoha was studying law to become a Barrister in the U.K. but midway through her Master’s Degree she took a leap of faith and dropped out of law to follow a new career path.
Coming from a conservative Muslim family, her parents were sceptical of her acting career.
When she got her first film offer, her mother was completely against it, so she used to hide her initial projects.
Although her parents were initially against her acting career, they eventually accepted it when they saw how serious she was towards her career.
Zoha gained mainstream media attention after portraying the first Hijab-wearing character in the MCU in Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Far From Home.”
Zoha has garnered attention from international platforms for her efforts to address the lack of diversity in the film industry. She has been vocal about her struggles as a South Asian Muslim actor, discussing the issue on BBC Radio and in interviews featured in Forbes, Al Jazeera, Buzzfeed, and Metro.
Having gained experience in the Western entertainment industry, she believes that her external appearance and heritage will consistently factor into casting decisions as a primary consideration.
