After completing his schooling in Dhanbad, he moved to Meerut to pursue his graduation.
Upon graduating from college, he began working with a call centre in Delhi, where he worked for about one and a half years before he had to leave it owing to the 2008 recession.
To become a âheroâ in the Hindi film industry, he landed in Mumbai in 2009, where he met Anurag Kashyap and gave him his writing sample for the film âGangs of Wasseypur.â
To acknowledge his work for Gangs of Wasseypur, he was honoured with the IIFA, Filmfare, and TOIFA Awards for âBest Dialogue Writingâ and SAIFF Award under the category of âBest Supporting Actorâ in 2013.
With his friend Rohit Khaitan, who is the producer of movie âPrague,â he formed a production house named âFriday to Friday Entertainers and Media Pvt. Ltd.â in 2013.
Zeishan began working as a director in the Hindi film industry with the film âMeeruthiya Gangster,â which hit the screens in 2015.
