In 2003, Yasir Jaswal began his career in the music industry and joined the Islamabad-based rock band ‘Irtaash.’

In 2008, Yasir started working as the assistant brand manager at the advertising agency named ‘IAL Saatchi & Saatchi’ in Karachi.
Yasir Jaswal and his wife Saba Jaswal studied at the same university and Saba was Yasir’s junior. They both dated for a while before getting married in 2011.
In the same year, Yasir along with the other band members dissolved the band ‘Irtaash.’
In 2011, Yasir founded his own music and film production company named ‘Jaswal Films.’
