Some Lesser Known Facts About Yash Dandge
Yash Dandge is known by his stage name 99side. His stage name is inspired by a New York-based hip-hop duo Mobb Deep who used street codes as their song names and Yash lives on the 99th street so he chose the name 99side.
His first encounter with Hip Hop happened when he saw someone’s tattoo of the musical artist Lil Bin. Later, he discovered rapping and began writing raps; however, in the beginning, he did not take rapping very seriously.
He is a member of the rap crew Allegionz in Vile Parle East, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

In 2022, Yash began participating in battle rap events in Mumbai where he won a cash prize of Rs. 15000 during his first event.
