Y Ravi Shankar is an Indian film producer who predominantly works in the Telugu film industry.
After spending his childhood in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, he moved to Madhapur, a suburb of Hyderabad, Telangana.
In 2015, he co-founded the Indian film production company âMythri Movie Makers,â which mainly produces and distributes Telugu films, along with Naveen Yerneni and Mohan Cherukuri.

Notable films produced by the company include the Telugu-language films Srimanthudu (2015), Janatha Garage (2016), Rangasthalam (2018), and Mathu Vadalara (2019). In 2019, Mohan Cherukuri parted ways with the production house. Thereafter, it was headed by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar.

In February 2020, after delivering several blockbusters in Telugu, Mythri Movie Makers announced their venture into Hindi cinema with a film starring Salman Khan .
