Vishakha hails from a family of Uttar Pradesh which later settled in London. As a kid, she wanted to be a teacher, but fate had something else in the store.
She works as a part time venture capitalist in her fatherâs company which is based in Dubai.
Along with the equal right activist Gopi Shankar Madurai, she helped Santhi Soundarajan, first Tamil woman to win a medal at the Asian Games, fetch a permanent job at Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority.
She began modelling in 2007 and worked for some Television and print commercial projects.
After having tried her luck in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada film industry, she made an appearance in Hindi film âHumsey Hain Jahanâ in 2008. The film had Jackie Shroff and Mashhoor Amrohi in the lead.
She had left the film industry in 2011, but then made a comeback in 2013 with a Tamil film âKanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya.â
In 2015, she was invited to be a part of the jury of one of Romeâs biggest film festivals for Italian and European filmmakers.
