Vinita Joshi decided to become an actor when she was a child.
She participated in many extracurricular activities, especially debate competitions, during her school days.
She met a guy named Tejas Thakkar during her college days and soon fell in love with him. They later started dating and eventually got married. The duo, however, later decided to part ways due to compatibility issues.
Even after her divorce from Tejas Thakkar, many media outlets continued to refer to her as ‘Vinita Thakkar’ or ‘Vinita Joshi Thakkar.’ Vinita, however, often stressed her preference for her maiden surname ‘Joshi’ and continued to use it.
Vinita, being a highly emotional person, decided to pursue acting as a way to express her emotions effectively.
She has worked in many television series like Life OK’s ‘Savdhaan India – India Fights Back’ (2012) and StarPlus’ ‘Saraswatichandra’ (2013).

She has also appeared in some short films like ‘Uncoupled’ (2018), ‘Glitch’ (2019), and ‘Khidaki'(2020).
