Vinay Bidappa is an Indian actor who works basically for the Kannada Film Industry. He is well-known for his role as Virat in both parts of the film, KGF. He has also worked in several other famous Kannada films throughout his career.
In 2015, Vinay worked in the film, Sharp Shooter.

Vinay acted alongside the famous KGF protagonist, Yash, in the film, Mr and Mrs Ramachari. The movie was offered to Vinay in 2015.

Vinay believes that films such as KGF, are a matter of pride for the entire Indian cinema, and should not be contained to any particular film industry. In an interview, he stated,

Vinay has been a close associate of, Ramachandran Raju, who played the character of Garuda in the film KGF. They both started an acting workshop in 2016, prior to working in the movie together. check sources
Vinay in public places is now recognized as the brother of Garuda. During an interview, Vinay exclaimed,
Whenever people see me on the streets, they say, ‘look its Garuda’s brother from KGF.’ I hope that they soon begin to recognize me as Virat.”
