Vimala Raman is an Australian actress and former model of Indian origin, primarily known for her work in South Indian films.
She was born and brought up in Sydney.

During her college days, she started participating in different modelling contests and achieved significant success.
In 2004, she won the Miss India Australia contest, and the following year, she was crowned Miss India Worldwide â Beautiful Face. Her modelling career also included appearances in various print advertisements and photoshoots.

After completing her graduation, she initially worked as a database analyst.
In 2017, she worked as a judge at the National Association of Teachers of Singing convention in Los Angeles. That same year, she was appointed as the brand ambassador of Storm Fashion Company.
