Some Lesser Known Facts About Vignesh
In 1992, Vignesh worked in the film Vanna Vanna Pookkal. However, after working for seven days in the film, he was replaced by actor Prashanth. The film was directed by Balu Mahendra.
In the following year, he appeared in three films Amma Ponnu, Bharathiraja’s Kizhakku Cheemayile, and Kathir’s Uzhavan.
In 1995, Vignesh appeared alongside actress Yuvarani in the film Chellakannu. The film was a hit at the box office.

In the mid-1990s, Vignesh’s housemate Bala, an assistant of Balu Mahendra wrote the script of the film Sethu, then titled Akhilan, and offered him the film’s lead role. The film was shelved due to financial constraints.
