Vasundhara Oswal was raised by her parents in a rich family.

She and her family moved to Switzerland soon after her birth.
During her second year of college, Vasundhara started an initiative by founding Pro Industries and in 2020, she was appointed as the Executive Director of Pro Industries and its massive ethanol plant in Uganda.
Vasundhara Oswal integrated a financially viable ZLD scheme to ensure 100% waste recycling and a CO2 capturing plant at PRO Industries which sells wastewater to the beverage industry.
Vasundhara has also set up an entertainment label named ‘PROTunes Ltd.’ to help her younger sister Ridi Oswal’s musical career as well as provide a platform to upcoming Indo-Western popstars.
Apart from Pro Industries, she is also the director general of the largest ethanol plant in East Africa named ‘Axis Minerals’ and focuses on investment strategies and operational development of the same.
In 2021, Vasundhara and her sister Ridi Oswal were the youngest speakers at the UNESCO World Anti-Bullying Forum 2021.
In 2023, Vasundhara Oswal was named Woman of the Year by the esteemed Economic Times.
In the same year, she and her sister Ridi Oswal were featured on the cover of the ‘Hello Magazine’ in Switzerland.

In 2024, Vasundhara co-founded ‘Stop the B,’ an anti-bullying campaign, with her sister Ridi Oswal.
In the same year, Vasundhara Oswal’s Instagram handle uploaded a post which detailed her unlawful detainment and arrest’ and also showed a toilet with blood and faeces on the floor. The post claimed that she was forced to sit in a room full of shoes for over 90 hours and was not allowed to bathe or change her clothes for nearly five days.

Due to her illegal detention in Uganda, Vasundhara’s father Pankaj Oswal issued an open letter to the President of Uganda to free his daughter from the inhumane treatment.

Pankaj Oswal alleges that his daughter Vasundhara’s detention is based on false accusations made by a former employee of the Oswal family who had stolen valuable assets and taken a $200,000 loan with the family as guarantors. Vasundhara was accused of planning the murder of the said former employee of the Oswal family.
Her mother Radhika Oswal made an appeal to the government of Uganda and she was quoted saying in her appeal that
My young daughter has been thrown into a foreign jail. She has been stripped of her basic human rights and her dignity. Vasundhara is an innocent bystander.”
Her father Pankaj Oswal bought one of the world’s ten most expensive houses in Switzerland and named it ‘Villa Vari’ after the names of his daughters Vasundhara and Ridi.
