Varsha Usgaonkar grew up in Goa.
Varsha wanted to join the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune after 10th grade. However, admissions were closed then, and her father advised her to complete her graduation before pursuing a career in acting.
Varsha was introduced to theatre by one of her fatherâs friends, who was a renowned theatre director. She went on to perform in many Marathi theatrical productions like âMahapur,â âEk Hoti Waghin,â âAndhra Majha Sobti,â and âBaaki Itihaas.â
She has appeared in many Marathi films like âHamaal De Dhamaalâ (1989), âKuthe Kuthe Shodhu Mi Tilaâ (1990), âJeeva Sakhaâ (1991), âDhyaas Parvaâ (2001), âArjunâ (2011), âBhavishyachi Aishi Taishiâ (2017), and âSher Shivrajâ (2022).
