In 2009, Valentina Gomez moved to New Jersey, United States, from Medellin, Colombia, with her family.
During her high school years, she was a top swimmer, qualifying at the national level as a junior. She was a member of the Colombian National Team.

In 2015, Valentina Gomez qualified for the 2015 World Junior Championship held in Singapore.
After that, she became the captain of the Hudson Catholic swim team.
Valentina Gomez was the president of the Spanish Club.
She was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of her high school swim team.

After completing her formal education, she worked as a real estate investor for some time.
In August 2016, Valentina Gomez began working as a volunteer swimming coach for children at Special Olympics.
From 2016 to 2017, at Central Connecticut State University, she was second in the mile swim with a time of 17:13.45 and came fourth in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:05.70 at the Northeast Conference Championships.
She was named Rookie of the Week three times in the Northeast Conference.

At Bryant, she finished third in the 1,000-yard freestyle and fifth in the 500-yard freestyle.
At Northeastern, she placed second in the 100 freestyle (10:35.44), second in the 200 butterfly (2:07.95), and third in the 500 freestyle (5:13.55).
She won the 200-yard butterfly at CCSU’s Tri-Meet against Wagner and Bryant, and was second in the 1,650 freestyle.

She has also worked at Nestlé Purina from October 2021 to June 2024 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, where she focused on financial and strategic improvement.
In January 2017, Valentina Gomez co-founded Fundación Flor de Mayo in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia. She worked in the company till October 2021.
From August 2019 to May 2021, she served as Vice President of the Hispanic Business Council at Tulane, New Orleans, Louisiana.
In August 2019, Valentina Gomez joined the Hispanic Business Council Community Outreach at Habitat for Humanity International as a volunteer.
After that, she became known on social media for performing violent stunts and making offensive statements about Muslims, LGBT+ people, Black Americans, and immigrants.

Reportedly, these stunts were intended to get public attention to grow her political career.
In December 2024, Valentina Gomez shared a video on social media that showed a fake execution of an immigrant dummy tied to a chair with a black bag on its head.
In the video, she said that illegal immigrants who commit serious crimes against Americans should be executed in public instead of being deported.

Valentina Gomez has also spoken against Black Americans, telling them to leave the country if they do not like it.
She once mocked Juneteenth, the holiday that marks the end of slavery. She called it ‘the most ratchet holiday.’
In February 2024, Valentina Gomez performed an anti-LBGTQ+ act by using a flamethrower to burn a pile of LGBTQ+ books.

She started her political career in 2024 when she contested for Missouri Secretary of State. She finished in sixth place and received only 7.4% of the total votes.
After that, Valentina Gomez lost several elections and was banned many times from social media for hate speech. Reportedly, she works on building her image as a divisive far-right figure.
She is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
