| Controversy | The Polymer Business Cheating Case: On 10 April 2024, the Economic Offence Wing of Mumbai Police arrested Vaibhav Pandya for cheating Hardik Pandya and his brother Krunal Pandya for Rs. 4 crore. In 2021, Hardik, Krunal, and Vaibhav started a polymer business in partnership in which Hardik and Krunal invested 40% of capital each, while Vaibhav invested 20% capital. Vaibhav Pandya worked as a coordinator at P Mak Agency in Mumbai from January 2004 to May 2006.
In November 2008, he joined Vodafone Essar Ltd. as a form acceptance auditor. He was then promoted to the designation of quality coach analyst. He also worked as a team coach at the company.
Vaibhav joined Idea Cellular Ltd. in Mumbai as a territory sales manager for the enterprise business unit (postpaid) in October 2010. He worked there till April 2011.
