Vagmita Singh is an Indian screenwriter, performer, and YouTuber. She appeared in the 2023 Netflix web series ‘Social Currency.’
Since her childhood, she had a fondness for storytelling. This passion ultimately led her to choose a career path in filmmaking.
While studying in college, Vagmita Singh began her career as an intern at a production house and worked there as an editor for almost two years.
She later got a job as a writer in a company where she wrote news related to Bollywood. After one year, she was promoted to become the head of the content department in that company. She continued in that role for almost a year before deciding to leave her job.
In 2012, she established her very own YouTube channel called ‘That Indian Chick’ where she started sharing videos in which she discuss everyday activities in a funny way. Her first video, titled ‘What Indian Hand Gestures Mean,’ received over 65,000 views.
In her videos, she mainly talks about mental health and toxic relationships. She also tries to promote her mother tongue ‘Marwari’ through her videos.
