V. Harikrishna is known for his work in the Kannada film industry.
He was 8 years old when he played the keyboard for an orchestra that his father had named after him. He discontinued his studies to pursue his career in music.
After his father’s death in 1990, he had to work as a mechanic in his father’s shop. Later, composer Sadhu Kokila insisted him on taking up music again.
He initially worked as an assistant to many music directors like Hamsalekha, V. Ravichandran, and Gurukiran.
He has been a part of many short films, daily shows, and private music albums.
He worked as a programmer and played the keyboard for many projects, including advertisements.
His professional career began after he worked on a project with composer Manoranjan Prabhakar.
