He later became interested in acting and was famous in the drama department of Ruparel College.

He became famous for his work in Marathi TV serials such as Lavangi Mirchi, Sangeet Aakhyan, and Sakha Pandurang.

He acted in Marathi films including Unad and Zombivli. He also did a cameo in the Hindi film Bahubali starring Prabhas .

His wife had gone to work on the morning of 20 June 2025. When she came back, she found him hanging from a fan in her house.

Most people claimed that he committed suicide because of a lack of work. Some reports indicated that he ended his life over a family dispute.
He was also drinking alcohol before committing suicide.
His friend and ‘Chala Hawa Yeu Dya’ fame Marathi actor Ankur Wadhave shared the news on Instagram.

He shared Ghadigaonkar’s photo and wrote, “Friend, why? For what? Things come and go, we have to find a way out, but suicide is not the way! I agree that the current situation is strange, but this decision cannot be made. Tushar Ghadigaonkar, if you lose, we all lose.“
He was working on the serial Sakha Mazha Pandurang on Sun Marathi and a film as well when he died.
