Tota Roy Chowdhury is an Indian actor/martial artist who majorly works in Bengali cinema.
He was awarded as the best athlete in the last year of the school.
He was in his 2nd year of college, he was preparing for the CDS (Combined Defence Services) exams and he was asked by the director Prabhat Roy to play a small role in his film. It was then, when he decided to become a professional actor.
He debuted in Hindi Cinema with the film Kahani 2, alongside Vidya Balan  directed by Sujoy Ghosh.
In 2003, he acted in a Bengali movie Chokher Bali, alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan .
