Tom Blyth grew up in Derbyshire. After his father started working as a writer for the soap opera, Tom, along with his family, moved to Tockwith, North Yorkshire.

When he was 11 years old, his parents got divorced. After his parents’ divorce, he used to remain upset. To divert his mind, his mother decided to enroll him in an acting class.
At the age of 12, he started working as a newspaper delivery boy to meet his financial expenses.
When he was 15, his father fell ill, and Tom had to drop out of his school.
After his father’s demise, he continued his TV workshop. He then joined the National Youth Theatre.
While he was in school, he was offered various TV shows, but he rejected the offer.
