Taskin was passionate about cricket since his childhood days but wasn’t backed by his father. Academics intelligence was what his father wanted him to achieve expertise in.
In an exclusive chat, he recalled his journey. He had to follow a strict curfew at home, however, he once broke the rule and was punished with his brand new bat by his father.
After Rubel Hossain, Taskin holds the number 2 position of being the fastest bowler in the history of Bangladesh Cricket. The fastest bowl he has bowled as of January 2017 is 148kph and has an average bowling speed of around 145kph.
One of his friends convinced him to appear in the Abhani ground for the Under-12 team selection. Unfortunately, his friend became an auto rickshaw driver because of his poor financial conditions.
