Tanisha Santoshi is an Indian actress, filmmaker, scriptwriter, and creative developer. In 2023, Tanisha Santoshi debuted as an actor with the Bollywood film “Gandhi Godse Ek Yudh” in which she played the role of Seema. The film was directed by her father, Rajkumar Santoshi, and produced by her mother, Manila Santoshi.
She wanted to become a director like her father since she was a child.
Tanisha Santoshi worked as an assistant director for the Bollywood film “Phata Poster Nikhla Hero” (2013) under a part-time internship program at Tips Industries Limited.

During her graduation from the University of Arts London, Tanisha Santoshi worked on some projects in filmmaking like production manager for ‘How To Screen Print’ in 2018, director for the documentary film “True Colours” in 2018, first assistant director for the film “The Audition,” and script supervisor for the film “All that Glitters Is Not Gold” in 2019.
In 2019, she worked as an assistant director for the Hindi film “Bad Boy” (2020).
In 2020, she got enrolled in a full-time internship at Dharma Production and worked there as an assistant director for three months.
Bollywood actress Jhanvi Kapoor and her sister Khushi Kapoor are best friends with Tanisha Santoshi. They know each other since childhood.
