Suthida is the Queen of Thailand.
In May 2010, she joined the Royal Thai Army as the Second Lieutenant.
Before being appointed as commander of Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn’s household guard in August 2014, Suthida had worked as a flight attendant for Thai Airways.
Since the divorce of the crown prince from Srirasmi Suwadee, Suthida was linked romantically to him.

In October 2016, various national and international media houses labelled her as the designated king’s “consort.”
When she was named a Dame Grand Cross (First Class) of The Most Illustrious Order of Chula Chom Klao on 13 October 2017, she became the first female officer to receive this honour since 2004.
In December 2016, she was inducted into the Special Operations Unit of the King’s Guard, and only within six years of her service, she was promoted to the rank of general.
Suthida During Her Stint In The Thai Royal Army
Suthida became a household name when on 1 May 2019, Thailand’s King Vajiralongkorn wed his royal consort, Gen. Suthida and declared her queen just days before his coronation.
Their wedding ceremony took place in Bangkok’s Dusit Palace where Vajiralongkorn was in a white uniform while Suthida had worn a traditional Thai silk dress.
