Some Lesser Known Facts About Sushma Sharma
Sushma Sharma is the youngest of six siblings.
While in primary school, she started training in Kabaddi at the Bal School grounds in Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh, under coach Purna Chand Katoch.
She participated in various competitions at the school, college, district, and state levels before playing professionally at the age of 16.
She has also won gold and silver medals in the Senior National Games and Khelo India University Games.
After winning the Gold medal at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, the Himachal Pradesh government rewarded her with a cash award of Rs 15 lakh.

She was also nominated for the Times Of India Sports Awards (TOISA) in 2023.
Another sport she likes to play is cricket.
