The case came into the limelight after a man named Jatav was found hanging at his home. Suresh Shyamlal Gupta had said that a few blood stains were found on Jatav’s room’s floor which indicated that it was not a suicide.
He raised objections against the Netflix web series Sacred Games for showing the wrong image of the former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi .
In 2019, post the Pulwama attack, he protested against the Indian singer Mika Singh for performing at a wedding in Pakistan. He also announced that the Pakistani artists were banned in India.

He raised his voice to arrest the culprits in Raju Sapte’s (art director) murder case. In 2021, the accused in the case were arrested by the Mumbai Police.
In 2024, as President of AICWA, he demanded the arrest of the Indian actor Poonam Pandey for fooling people about her fake death.
He supported the Indian politician Rahul Gandhi during his Bharat Jodo Yatra.
