Suresh Albela is a stand-up comedian and poet (hasya kavi). In 2008, he won the title of the TV comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.’
He was born and brought up in Rajasthan.

His parents wanted him to become a doctor, but he was interested in making his career as a hasya kavi.
After completing his graduation, he started working as a stand-up comedian and poet at various stage shows and kavi sammelans. Initially, he used to perform in Rajasthan, and later, he started performing in other states as well.

In one of his shows, he was spotted by the Indian assistant director Hemant Sharma, who called Suresh for the auditions of the TV comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ (2007). He auditioned for the show but could not clear the audition round.
In 2008, he auditioned for the same show, and he was declared the winner of the show. In the show, one of his acts got very popular in which he gave a Sanksrit description of the Indian actress Mallika Sherawat .
Suresh was then invited to perform at various stage shows and Kavi sammelans.

He performed in the TV comedy shows ‘Indian Mazak League’ and ‘Mazaak Mazaak Mein’ in 2016.

Suresh has participated in many other TV comedy shows such as ‘Comedy Ke Sartaj Mr. Bajaj’ and ‘Kavi Yudh.’ He then appeared in another comedy show named ‘Suresh Albela Show’ (2021).
