In 1994, Sunil Saini started working as the Input Editor for the Hindi-language right-wing news channel ‘Zee News.’
In 1995, Sunil Saini was appointed as the Senior Producer of the Hindi-language news channel ‘Aaj Tak’ where he was in charge of hard news reporting, content development, broadcast journalism, news writing, and data analysis.
In 2002, he was appointed as the Executive Producer of Star TV Network.
In 2005, Sunil Saini started working as a senior editor of the Indian news media company ‘New Delhi Television Ltd’ (NDTV).
In 2009, he was promoted to the position of Executive Editor of NDTV where he was in charge of news management, copy editing, copywriting, and data analysis.
In 2012, Sunil Saini started working as the Managing Editor of NDTV where he took care of the regulatory requirements, editorial production, and editorial process.
In 2019, Sunil Saini started anchoring the NDTV show titled ‘Simple Samachar.’
