He was born in a middle-class family in Chandrapur, Maharashtra.
His father was an employee in the Indian Railways.
He moved to Mumbai in 1995 along with his family.
During his college days, he used to mimic his Professors.
After the college, he struggled for 3 years.
In an interview, he revealed that he worked at a tea stall in Santacruz as a waiter.
In 2000, he got a chance to do a world tour as a junior artist along with Aamir Khan for Lagaan. He also did tours with famous artists like Aishwarya Rai and Preity Zinta .
He rose to fame after winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2005.

He made headlines in December 2024 after his wife lodged a police missing complaint after she could not contact him for hours. According to sources, Pal had gone out of Mumbai to conduct a stage show; however, he failed to return on the day on which he said he would. When his wife tried contacting him, his cell phone was not reachable. Later, the cops managed to contact Pal.
After returning to Mumbai, he disclosed that he had been kidnapped near the Delhi border. He was released by the kidnappers after paying a ransom of approximately Rs. 7 to Rs. 8 lakhs. He also mentioned that the kidnappers gave him Rs. 20,000 from the ransom to help him travel to Mumbai.
