Some Lesser Known Facts About Sunetra Choudhury
Sunetra made a headstart to her career in 1999 with The Indian Express newspaper.
She was then promoted to Deputy Chief Reporter and was given the responsibility of handling the city section Newsline.
She entered the electronic media industry in 2002 as Hindi-reporter at STAR News.
A year later, she shifted to NDTV, New Delhi and since then, she has been working over there as an anchor and reporter.
She covers politics, investigations, crime and natural disasters genre in her reporting.
Her detailed report on how voters cast their vote based on religion and caste was an exclusive work done by her, which was, later on, broadcasted as a show titled “The Election Express.”
Sunetra has penned a book titled “Braking News,” which was published by Hachette India. The book is based on a two-month scenario prior to May 2009 general elections.
Her stupendous work on “disabled children being adopted by Indian families for the first time” made her won the Red Ink Award in 2015.
