Sumit Suri came to Delhi for some job after completing his graduation. He tried but stayed unemployed for a year.
In 2006, he moved to Mumbai and started doing different kinds of jobs so that he could survive in Mumbai.
He started his career as an assistant director before trying his hands on acting. He has assisted many famous film directors including director Majid Majidi.
Sumit Suriâs film âSurkhabâ was selected at the âNFDC Film Bazaarâ as âViewing Room Filmâ for release in 2013. It won many awards at a various international film festival, including an award for Summit for Best Actor in Supporting role at the âNoida International Film Festivalâ (2015).
He is a sportsperson and was the captain of his school and collegeâs Volley Ball and Cricket team.
