Sumit Awasthi is a well-known journalist in India.
As per one of his interview, journalism runs in his blood, as his father was a journalist at the ‘Akashvani,’ and was also linked with the ‘Bhartiya Suchna Sewa.’
Sumit Awasthi’s Parents
Awasthi wanted to secure his career in the Indian Army, for which he attempted twice, but failed.
After completing his post-graduation, he did an internship in journalism with Jansatta. In 1997, he joined the Zee news channel.
