Sudhanshu was born and brought up in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
He is a very spiritual person and a strong devotee of Lord Shiva.
He wanted to become an Army officer before he started taking interest in Modelling.
Sudhanshu’s parents were very supportive for his acting career.
He started his modelling career at the age of 19.
His first paycheck was more than his father’s salary at that time, it was ₹25,000.
Initially, he got featured in music videos such as ”Maikhane” by Pankaj Udhas .
He was supposed to make his Bollywood debut with the period film ”Khajuraho 950 AD” (2000), starring Anupam Kher & Rajpal Yadav , but it was later shelved. After that, he got his breakthrough role in 2000 in the Bollywood film ”Khiladi 420”, as Inspector Rahul.
He also worked with Tarla Dalal in the cooking show ”Cook It Up With Tarla Dalal.”
He was also a part of the famous band- ABOB (A Band Of Boys), the band gave many hit songs like Gori, Meri Neend. This was India’s first boy band, the band had 5 members- Sudhanshu Pandey, Karan Oberoi, Chin2 Bhosle, Siddharth Haldipur and Sherrin Varghese. However, after a short while, he left the group to focus on his acting career.
Apart from Hindi films, Sudhanshu has also acted in many south Indian films.
