Some Lesser Known Facts About Srishti Dabas

  • While pursuing her graduation, Sristi was part of a research team backed by the college that worked for the upliftment of the transgender community in Delhi. Her research included finding problems that the transgender communities face and coming up with innovative solutions to solve the said problems.

  • While studying in college, she worked with an NGO named Basera Samajik Sansthan based in Noida.

  • She is a member of the National Service Scheme and participated in various workshops and legal, health and safety awareness campaigns.

  • During college, she participated in and won various debates and quiz competitions at university and inter-university levels. She secured the second position in the University Examination of Part I.

  • In 2018, she received the Centenary Decade Undergraduate Research Grant.

  • After her graduation, she worked with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.

  • Later, she began working for the Reserve Bank of India in Mumbai. She works in the human resource department of the bank and l takes care of the appraisals of all employees. She is employed as a B-grade employee.

  • After clearing the UPSC-CSE, she wanted to work for the social welfare and social apprehension of the country.

  • While working at the RBI, she began preparing for the Indian Administrative Service exam. She did her IAS coaching at the Vajirao and Reddy Institute in Delhi.
