When she was pursuing the graduation, her interest started inclining towards acting.
Sonali started her career as a theatre artist, and thereafter, she appeared on the small screen in 2005.
She has appeared in many Hindi TV serials like âKya Mast Hai Lifeâ, âSanskaar â Dharohar Apnon Kiâ, âSatrangi Sasuralâ, etc.
Sonali is popularly recognised for her role as gynaecologist âDr. Shilpa Thakkarâ in the super-hit Star Plus TV serial âBaa Bahoo Aur Babyâ.
Apart from working in the TV serials, she has also worked in many Bollywood films like âAashayeinâ, âMere Dost Picture Abhi Baki Haiâ, âPizzaâ, âKedarnathâ, etc.
